Grandlark Investments Inc. is a private investment firm which was founded on the principle of acquiring companies in specific industry sectors with the intent of being led by a previously selected group of top-flight, C-suite executives. In effect, Grandlark, working very closely with pre-selected, high caliber CEO’s, acquires businesses in a wide range of industries which are eminently suited to the specific skills, interests and capabilities of those CEO’s. As a result, Grandlark only acquires businesses which are ideally suited to one of the CEO’s in its roster.

With this strategy in mind, Grandlark Investments is a low volume, high value-added firm that makes a small number of investments in any given year. This approach allows us to provide maximum focus to ensure that each business opportunity is maximized for all parties concerned.

We operate on a fully deployed or fully divested basis and are primarily interested, as operators, in a longer term perspective. We firmly believe that solid business execution and fundamentals, combined with patient capital, are a winning combination for long term success.

Grandlark’s primary investment focus in its portfolio is as a significant investor. In some cases we acquire the entire business, while in others we hold a majority position. Grandlark Investments, as a general rule, does not take minority positions.

As a privately held firm, our philosophy is to operate with significant confidentiality and discretion. As such, we do not publish our acquisition portfolio, our unassigned CEO roster or the identities of our Limited Partners.
